Make first
Interesting things become real through work, not through permission or impressive-looking plans.
A company for people who make things
An organization for creators, builders, tinkerers, hobbyists, inventors, and anyone whose interests refuse to fit inside one title.
This is a place for the multi-interested person: the creator, builder, tinkerer, learner, and instigator who refuses to become only one thing.
01 / The company
The BS Company is an organization for people who make things - especially the people who make many different kinds of things.
We take interesting, useful, impractical, experimental, ambitious, and occasionally ridiculous ideas seriously enough to make them real. The joke is part of the identity, but it is never an excuse for sloppy work.
Capability without pretension. Serious work without corporate theater. Curiosity without permission.
Interesting things become real through work, not through permission or impressive-looking plans.
Technical, creative, physical, entrepreneurial, and absurd projects can all belong to the same person.
A project does not need to be necessary to deserve care, skill, and a finish worth standing behind.
02 / The people
They move between disciplines because curiosity keeps moving. They are not unfocused. They are operating across a wider field.
They turn ideas into artifacts, stories, designs, systems, meals, spaces, and experiences.
They enjoy the work itself and understand that competence comes from doing, revising, and finishing.
They take things apart, improve what already exists, and learn by making the first version imperfectly.
They keep many moving parts alive and want enough structure to protect momentum without killing it.
They follow genuine interest across fields and do not apologize when the next subject looks unrelated.
They are the person who says, “We could build that,” and then becomes dangerously serious about it.
One company / Many directions
Each division gives an interest a clear identity while keeping every project part of the same larger culture. Different fields. Same standards.
03 / The principles
The work matters more than the performance of legitimacy.
Unnecessary projects still deserve necessary standards.
Playful intent and serious execution are not opposites.
Knowledge earns more value when it helps someone else build.
A person does not need one niche to possess a coherent identity.
Progress requires real artifacts, honest review, and another version.
04 / The need
People like this do not suffer from a lack of ideas. They suffer from too many meaningful projects competing for the same time, attention, energy, and money.
They need enough structure to protect momentum—without turning organization itself into another project.
05 / The operating system
It is not a generic task list. It is one place to capture, organize, advance, review, and remember the full inventory of work - across every interest that refuses to disappear.
06 / The capabilities
Enough structure to protect momentum. Not enough ceremony to become another project.
Define outcomes and keep related Entries, actions, context, and lifecycle decisions together.
Capture tasks, events, ideas, Wants, accomplishments, and work that has not found its Project yet.
Revisit what is now, next, waiting, active, neglected, and worth moving forward.
See project dates, Entries, payments, paydays, Wants, and events across day, week, month, and agenda views.
Preserve completed work as evidence of momentum instead of letting it vanish behind a checkbox.
Understand obligations, available capacity, revolving credit, and the real timing of future choices.
Keep possible purchases connected to context, priority, cost, and a deliberate funding path.
Synchronize chosen devices, work offline, manage access, retain portability, and verify recovery history.
07 / The invitation
We are not trying to convince everyone that they need another productivity app. We are building a place for people who already understand the problem - because they have too many interests they refuse to abandon.
See what we are building. Use the system. Make something worth sharing.
